WANSTEAD FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE is looking for Seasonal & Full Time Truck Drivers to join our team in both the Wanstead and Alvinston branches. The position, which requires a valid DZ license (preferably 3yrs experience) will involve delivering agriculture products and services to farm producers in our region as well as performing general labour tasks.

Duties Include:

• Ensure that all deliveries are made on schedule
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely and perform regular safety checks of the vehicle.
• Have a good knowledge of the Highway Traffic act, maintain a good driving record.
• Perform manual labour tasks such as the handling of feed, seeds, fertilizer and grain as well as some inventory duties and general maintenance.
• Understand and follow Wanstead Farmers Co-Operative health and safety policies and guidelines.

Requirements for the Position

• A valid DZ or AZ license - Competitive Wages
• Physical activity required including loading/unloading trucks
• Ability to work weekends and evenings when necessary
• Agricultural background is preferred but not necessary
